ROCK CLIMB ADVENTURE
Overview
Our rock climbing adventure is designed for couples with little or no outdoor climbing experience. This is an invigorating trip that will leave many lasting memories. Our trip takes place at Smith Rock State Park near Redmond, Oregon, home of sport climbing in America. This provides the couple with a great opportunity to learn and do rock climbing in a controlled environment. At the same time, many marriage concepts are brought out that we talk about during the evening.
Schedule
Trips are scheduled June through September and are generally three days beginning on Friday and ending Sunday. Each trip is customized to the couple or group so schedules are flexible. We usually meet at Smith Rock State Park on Friday and set up camp. Saturday is used to introduce climbing safety techniques and begin rock climbing. That evening, marriage concepts and teachings are discussed. Sunday is used for additional climbing and camp breakdown.
Gear
You must provide all of your necessary clothing and sleeping provisions. We recommend the following:
- Hard shell jacket
- Insulation layers
- Warm hat & shade hat
- Sunglasses
- Boots
- Sleeping bag & pad
We provide all food, cooking equipment, tent, permits, climbing gear, ropes, and climbing harness.
Cost
Our trips are all inclusive with no hidden costs. Due to the customized nature of our trips, we provide a no-obligation Trip Quotation for each adventure. Typical cost for a couple on this three day trip is $800 to $1,000 depending on the gear requirements and special needs. Due to safety requirements, a maximum of two couples can participate in this adventure.
